Falmouth U10 and U11 hosted an education day with matches on the new rules for each age group. Clubs invited were Penzance & Newlyn, Truro, Penryn and Chipping Norton Oxfordshire who were in Cornwall for the weekend. Phil Morris from Cornwall RFU briefed the coaches and the clubs went into a round robin set of 3 games each, where the referees coached both teams. Over 100 boys and girls participated. As there were so many players, Falmouth Cricket club most generously offered us the use of their outfield where we were able to set up 5 pitches. The weather was excellent and a fun time was had by all clubs.
