We have received an announcement from Cornwall RFU concerning youth rugby in Cornwall, dated 17th August 2026 :

With the RFU announcement last week regarding the delay to the League rugby and the pitch conditions at the vast majority of clubs, the CRFU have decided that it would also be prudent to include youth rugby and all contact games in this delay.
Player safety is at the heart of everything we do and I am sure you will all endorse this commonsense approach.
All CONTACT RUGBY will be banned until the 21st of September, you can still hold training sessions and inter club friendlies as long as there the contact element is removed, T1 or touch rugby games are to be encouraged.
We are also in the process of moving some of the league games for the U16’s and colts and the pitch up and play’s for the U16 girls.
If the conditions drastically change in the next few weeks we will obviously review this decision.
